What is Schools Plus?
Schools Plus is a national programme aimed at tackling educational inequality through tutoring for school pupils.
From Engineering to English, Coding to Clothes Design, Physics to Psychology, there's something for everyone!
What is the role?
  • Work as a tutor for one Teaching Block in a subject area of your interest.
  • Attend weekly tutoring sessions and lead or support students depending on the project you pick.
  • Projects are across London so if you are commuting to Kingston you might find an opportunity nearer home too!
  • All travel expenses are reimbursed.
What will you gain?
Spend just one hour a week and you will be able to:
  • Make new friends from across the University
  • Gain invaluable leadership and communication skills
  • Make a real difference to pupil's lives
  • And it looks great on your CV!
What are the next steps
  1. Fill in this application form telling us why you’d like to be involved.
  2. Attend a short informal selection workshop in the next week.
  3. Complete a 2 hour induction training afternoon on Wednesday 25th October.
  4. Spend the next few months making an impact, developing skills and experience, meeting new people and having fun!
